Meet Monty: Yale University Law School is an intense place, and its library is no joke: It has soaring vaulted ceilings, stained-glass windows and giant chandeliers that hang from chains. To help students unwind, the library is offering a rather unusual checkout option: Monty, a Jack Russell-border terrier mix.

I’ve been looking at various online collections from libraries (including the Library of Congress, where this lovely 1907 panoramic of flooded Pittsburgh came from) and was wondering: Are there any online archival collections that you particularly like?
I’d like to post more archival pictures and articles related to topics coming up on the show — but a) don’t know what’s out there and b) am finding some of these online collections difficult to navigate. Is there one search engine or database that catalogs these collections?
Some examples: Temple University’s Urban Archive, ASU’s archive of Grand Canyon tourism, Cornell’s aerial photographs of New York State.
